Kicking off an incredible day’s results at Ski to Sea over the weekend, Beaver’s Tree Service, which was comprised of:
XC Ski – Logan Wetzel
DH Ski – Brent Molsberry (Top Gun)
Run – Our boy Derek Thornton
RD Bike – Ben Shaklee
Canoe – Brian Boatman & Michael Lee
CX Bike – Jacob Hartsoch
Kayak – Brandon Nelson
was part of an exciting lead pack, ultimately finishing 3rd OA & 1st in the Whatcom County Open Division. Derek annihilated his previous best time on the 8-mile downhill leg, running 4:50 miles to help his team to an incredible performance. Beaver’s finished the multi-sport relay in 6:14:47, about 9 minutes from 2nd place’s Wenatchee Valley Brewing and 1’s Place’s Boomer’s Drive-In (6:05:59. 6:05:55).
Next up in the results was Leighton’s team, Odyssey Elementary Orcas, which was comprised of:

Team Odyssey Elementary Orcas was right behind Beaver’s in 4th OA in 6:25:58, and 3rd in the Competitive Open Division. Leighton killed the bike leg in a time of 1:31:35, a few minutes faster than 2018.
Our amazing ladies, Amber & Courtney, who competed for BNP Realtor’s, finished 1st OA Female Team, 1st in the Whatcom County Women’s Division & 18th OA in 7:04:27. BNP Realtor’s team consisted of:

Taking 2nd in their division – Competitive Women – and 37th OA in 7:38:48, SHEroes, with Alyson as the DH Snowboarder kicked ass! SHEroes was comprised of:

RD Bike – Allison Indyk
Canoe – Barbara Willson & Daphne Brockington
CX Bike – Megan Northey

In town for a bit, Brittany subbed in for the DH Run for Undead Alpacas, running 46:50 & passing over 50 teams in her leg alone to move the Undead Alpacas up. The team finished 35th in their Division – Recreational Mixed in 9:20:20!
Tanya competed in the DH Run as well, running 46:47, which brought her team in 1st at the time in their division; racing for BABS, which placed 15th in their division – Recreational Women – in 10:08:42.
