Last Wknd’s Results + A STACKED Last Wknd of June to Come!

Last weekend, Saturday, June 22nd held the famed 43rd Annual Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, MN. Our teammate Nick raced, improving upon his marathon best, finishing in 2:41:36. We see nothing but a bright future ahead for this dude. The results cast another wide net of Olympic Trial qualifiers for both men and women. Full Results HERE!

Back at home in Bellingham, teammate, Leighton dominated at the Padden Triathlon Long Course, finishing 1st OA in 1:37:31! Long Course Results HERE!

Up this weekend – the big kahuna – WESTERN STATES 100 – set to take off on Saturday, June 29 to Sunday, June 30! Two of our fabulous teammates, Maria & Nikki will be pacing at WSER. Maria will be pacing La Sportiva athlete, Kaytlyn Gerbin, who has completed (2) WS’, finishing 2nd F in 2018, and Nikki will be pacing our dear friend and former teammate, Corrine Malcolm, who has completed (1) WS, finishing 9th in 2018. Other names to note: Courtney Dauwalter, Ladia Albertson-Junkans, Kaci Lickteig, Yiou Wang & Camille Herron to name a few of our fave ladies to follow. Full Entrants List! Saturday, June 29th will also feature the Boise Sprint at Thomas Pence Ranch in Payette, ID. Alyson will be racing, aiming for no failed obstacles and hungry for a podium finish.

On Sunday, June 30th our teammate, Shelby, will be racing the Missoula Half Marathon in Missoula, MT. The race will take off at the early hour of 6:00 am. The course is considered flat and fast, with it’s point-to-point scenic route through the countryside, along the river, and finishing in historic downtown Missoula.

Sunday, June 30th will feature David racing Ironman Coeur d’Alene. The race offers 40 qualifying slots to the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Champs in Nice, France. The one-lap swim takes place in Lake Coeur d’Alene, the 56 miles 1-loop bike leg traverses along the lake, out 95 before heading back the same way, and the 13.1 mile 2-loop run starts along the lake before heading a little inland, out around and past Mceuen Park and back.

Closing out our BA weekend is our 5th Annual K2K Race held on Sunday, June 30th! We are so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Kulshan Brewery; each year gets better and better. We love our racers wholeheartedly, love showering them in prizes and fun swag and growlers, love their ‘Merica costumes and the after-party in the beer garden on James St.!
