Ginger Runner Live #120 I 108 Mile Bellingham to Mt. Baker, Dan Probst, Cascade Mountain Runners

“The 2016 Mount Baker Ultra Run was a great success. 12 runners set off for Mt. Baker on June 3rd at 6 PM. On June 5th at 11:30 AM after returning from the summit of Koma Kulshan, 11 runners ran down to the edge of the bay at Cornwall beach to finish the 108 mile run. The run highlights and uses some of the newly planned Bellingham-Mt.Baker trail system. When completed the trail will reach from Bellingham Bay 50 miles to the edge of the Easton Glacier. The trail is a community driven project lead by Cascade Mountain Runners. You can find more information about the trail at cascademountainrunners.org. This years runners were: Matt Meckenstock, Emily Morehouse, Dusty Caseria, Richard Kresser, Michael Plummer, Yvonne Naughton, Scott Martin, Brian McConnell, Kevin Douglas, Jesse Williams, Daniel Probst and Suzanne Lundberg who completed the run last year, but dropped from this years run on the return.”
