Tessa, having recently moved from Salt Lake City, UT where she was born and raised, is an ESL teacher for elementary and secondary aged students. In her free time she loves to hike, bike, run, camp with her husband – anything & everything outdoors.
Tessa’s fondest running memory includes doing the Transrockies with her dad. On the last day of the race (which called for 21 miles) she became sick. She had to walk the first several miles to keep her nausea under control. Her dad would hold her hand through the bad sections. Eventually, the heavens opened up and the nausea passed. To this day, her dad and her consider that particular day of the Transrockies the biggest comeback ever.
