On Saturday, August 19 at 4:00 am, Corrine Malcolm set out on her first 100 miler – the Leadville Trail 100. After 22 hours, 52 minutes and 25 seconds, she finished – 1st in her age group, 4th Female and 25th Overall. Corrine’s madre, Dayle Quigley was a kickass crewperson, updating all of us with photos and news online.

Ian Sharman of Bend, OR was the Men’s winner, finishing in 17:34:51, about an hour ahead of 2nd place’s, David Teirney in 18:32:34. Devon Yanko of San Anselmo, CA was 1st Woman with a time of 20:46:29, followed by Simona Morbelli of Climax, CO in 21:16:22 and Christy Burns of Evergreen, CO in 21:43:15.
